  1. Knies isnt even the best player on his line lmao! Fellow nominate Logan Colley and Jimmy Snuggerug are both way better than him

Ps: I wouldnt worry about nick kipreos, this guy is the Jordan Binnington of the analyst

  2. size matters in Pro hockey. Talent isn't only with the big guys there are a lot of small players more talented than the many big guys BUT it the way NHL rules this game pretending to protect the players why are there so many injuries involving body contacts? on Big men and on small men? The dirty players and you all know who they are are not disciplined the way they should when intentional hits that injure the players are involved. The suspensions are too soft and do not serve as a deterant to committing those injuring body checks. Until the players association do not address this situation, how many NHL players will live a short career? costing a burden on the salary cap of all the teams? Now soon to come in the NHL you could see something like soccer and Messi all the teams will have to pay those players because it is good for the league bank accounts? where is this all going to lead to? your guess is as good as mine?

  3. Brutal that Hudson got snubbed must have been some voters close to the leafs to make such an absurd choice of knies.

  4. Knies is the worse player on his line…..so how did he even get consideration..Hobey Baker is a joke and not based on talent but popularity

  5. No news on a probable Gudas suspension for his nasty knee clipping on Barron yesterday? I don't expect much against a team from that state, but this was dirty

  6. Honestly, give Knies the spot lol. It just means that he won't win it.

Also, if as an older, taller, twice as heavy DEF, who still is a league or two bellow a guy he could pass as his son lol, we GOT to give him some crumbs y'know? Almost nobody outside of the Leafs Nation knows him. Now, in many years, he's still going to be remembered as "The guy some idiots passed Hudson for" 😛

Besides, getting "ALMOST" something AND thinking that everything is already due to them are two HUGELY IMPORTANT Leafs tradition. Here, he'll lose a trophy for which he never should have been nominated for in the first place. It's good practice for the boy 😉

  7. "If I put my hatred of the Trana Maple Leafs aside." That's why I love you Junkie, we hate the Laffs just because!

  8. I'm as dedicated a fan of the Habs as anyone and I have been since the late 70's as a young kid. But I really have to say, as encouraging as this season has been and as incredible a coaching job St. Louis has done, I just can't see the logic in not getting into serious contention for that first overall pick. As much as fans of Montreal would wish it otherwise, it takes YEARS to build a contending team, especially one that can contend for several seasons, not just one or two. Look at Chicago, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles, each of those teams won multiple Cups over several years but they also built the cores of those teams with multiple high first round picks over 4 or 5 seasons. So, let's all agree that fans in Montreal would have a hard time putting up with a team that finishes close to last place for 4 or 5 years. But here's the kicker, IF IF IF, there is a shortcut to be had, it would DEFINITELY mean selecting Bedard this year. If MTL had done that, and they gain a top pick next year, now all of the sudden you might have a pretty good looking team with a deep pool of prospects and maybe you've achieved a rebuild in 3 seasons! But leaving Bedard on the table only means we will need another 2 or 3 quality prospects, and that might take another year or more. I hope I'm wrong but it's how I feel anyway.

  9. Kipper is rarely-completely wrong, though. I have anxiety about this, but Sportsnet sucks on my ATV, so if Gorton leaves, so does my $300/yr. Until Apple wins NHL rights.

  10. All this asside with Lane being left out of he hoby baker it fuels his efforts and will more and make thd leafs one of his teams he destroys with his skills. Ty for the vid junkie ghg!!

  11. Hutson is leading the team in Points with no high end caliber forwards as a rookie.

Knies plays with Cooley and Snuggerud.

    Hutson Snubbed
