  1. Damn, Lalonde seems harsh on Hellberg. I don't think he's the answer, but I don't think you can really blame him for any of the goals tonight. He didn't have much of a team in front of him.

And yeah, fatigue is a real factor, but I don't see why it can make them totally ineffective at EVERYTHING.

  2. Everyone gets angry when you idiots simply cant play defense right and take forever to get on the frickin board. Quit giving us this bullcrap and show up ready to play every time you guys go out there.

  3. In the off season the Wings will have to address a number of things including a back up goalie. Hellberg I'm not sold on and Ned has played better since his call up. Do we re sign Ned to a short term deal at a lower salary?

  4. As bad as our luck has been with the lottery there’s no way they’d waste this time left tanking as opposed to trying to secure roster spots by playing well.

  5. When you decide to blow up the team, some start to give up like this game. I am watching the wings in their defensive zone. They actually look like they are on the penalty kill when at full strength. Like watching a good college team playing an average high school team.

  6. Not starting on time. Same excuses with Blashill. This is on the coaches. After the disaster with the prior rookie NHL head coach, Yzerman hires another NHL head coach with zero NHL head coaching experience. It tells you something when many experienced and successful NHL head coaches were available that Yzerman hired someone with zero experience in this position. He did it because no experienced NHL head coach would tolerate his micromanaging of the coaching position. But this is what you get, a slow, painful death of a team.
