  1. Welcome back to the playoffs oilers and the back to back shutouts is awesome

  2. There was a touch of a laugh on his lips… Wasn't it? That's my man, always focused and a wonderful playmaker, the best in this game. Today instead of deadly passes with a hatty. Congrats Leon!

  3. What do you expect, it's the Anaheim Ducks. Pretty easy when you're playing the worst bottom team in the weakest division in the entire NHL.

  4. Really nice work by Leon. I hope the Oilers go far, I really do. I see too many flaws in their overall team but man is the top end talent great and exciting. Currently the most fun to watch Canadian team.

  5. after leon got the first goal hes like to gibson sorry man imma light you up tonight

  6. Ducks seems to be Leons Fav. Opponent Team to play…he destroyed them once in the Playoffs one game alone ("Leon two, Ducks nothing!" – it was that hillarious 7:1 Game in the Playoffs)

  7. Here's a list of [all the] fourteen players to score 50g/100p in a season 3 times (or more):
    Gretzky (9 times)
    Bossy (7)
    Lemieux, Dionne, Lafleur (6)
    Yzerman, Esposito (5)
    Ovechkin, Hull, Kurri (4)
    Draisaitl, Jagr, Robitaille, Goulet (3)
    … that's it!
What an elite company that is!

    14 names!
In the entire 105 year history of the NHL!
… and only 10 more guys (i) had 2 of those, taking the total number of players, who did it more than once, up to just 24.
Ovi and Leon are the only 2 "still active" (ii) in that bunch!

    Phenomenal!
And he's still just 27years of age!
Just a little over half as old as Jaromir "Methusalem" Jagr! (iii)
    xD

Oh… And with 120p he still got 5 more games to the season; statistically, that would project him to end up at 128p/80gp… Better than Kucherov's career season!
So… where does that place him, in the bracket of "best single season records during the CAP-era"?!?
    Top 5? – most certainly!
    … and he's hardly even talked about, because… well: "b/c McDavid!", o/c!
    * rme *
    😀

    – – – – –

    i) Heatley, Sakic, Bure, Mogilny, Selanne, Roenick, Stevens, LaFontaine, Ciccarelli, Simmer…
Now try to think of all the greats who are not part of this illustrious club!

ii) has Jaromir Jagr (51 years of age now) finally hung up the skates?
Anyway: he's not an NHL player anymore, so my point still stands.
    What a legend!

iii) or should I call him "Wolverine"?

  8. Wow Campbell finally shows up. Great game by everyone, if they carry this momentum in the playoffs they may actually make it far.

  9. Great player I always loved him even when he didn’t get the same for the first 2 seasons 🔥

  10. Dat 3rd goal was nasty af! He has probably the most powerfully accurate shot in the league. Very few players can score a goal like that bomb wrister he used on goal # 3.

  11. Hope he leaves that Dump city Edmonton and plays for Toronto best city in Canada 🎉
