Fucking gold lol. Albeit a little creepy, but still gold.

  2. ovondansuchi

This is way too creepy for me. It’s not cool to take a picture of someone else’s phone. Hopefully this is fake

Tickets in Toronto are so damn expensive it’s no wonder fans show up more in away games

  4. rjones416

imagine trying to compete with leaf nation.

  5. isotmelfny

Everytime they started ‘go sens go’ were absolutely drowned out by ‘go leafs go’ chants

  6. chollyer

I went yesterday with a pal who has season tickets.

    He’s a Leafs fan

Nothing I love more than taking over arenas. I don’t care what anyone says, we are the best fans.

If not for us the sens would’ve folded up shop years ago.

Sens fans act as if Leafs fans go out of their way to take over Leafs and Sens games in Ottawa. But in reality the Sens have only been here since the 90’s, Ottawa had always been a bastion of Leafs fandom.

Being a Leafs fan in Ottawa (Gatineau), it is genuinely exciting that both these teams will good at the same time soon. The Sens are hungry young team and the franchise is truly on the up and up. It’ll be fun to go back to pounding them into the dirt every year in the playoffs.

“There has to be a way to stop all these leaf fans from getting tickets.”

Well, yeah. Buy more season tickets, reducing the tickets available for individual game purchase. While Leaf fans represent in numbers across the league, Ottawa is probably the only place we can buy enough tickets to actually outnumber the home fans.

    Stop whining and pony up.

I have seen this a couple times from Sens fans. “How do we keep Leafs fans from buying all the tickets? It’s our home ice, why so many Leafs fans?”. Hey dummy. If you had more fans you there wouldn’t be so many tickets to buy. Game day vs Philly you could get lower bowl tickets in the corner for $99! In a playoff race against a bottom feeder you couldn’t even sell out the lower bowl. Stop blaming Leafs fans for buying tickets and realize that there are only 7000 Sens fans in Ottawa. Total.

Thats hilarious, I def feel for the Sens tho its gotta be kinda humiliating to have the crowd chanting go leafs go…

This is basically what it was like for every Coyotes game when they still played in Glendale. The arena was so far away from where everyone works and lives that tickets ended up super cheap, and most of the people buying tickets were people visiting to see the away team, or people that live in the Valley going to see their home team play. Kings games were absolutely bonkers with the amount of fans that showed up wearing LA jerseys.

I will be holding it down for y’all in Tampa in a few weeks! LFG!

  15. Leafs fans: fuelling Ottawa’s, Detroit’s and Buffalo’s tourism industry since the invention of the ACC. (Idk how much tickets were at the gardens)

  16. ravenbisson

To be fair it boost the loval economy here, as much as i hate to see blue at the ctc, they are welcome

  17. someguy172

Well the seats would’ve been empty anyway, so…

  18. For me I quarter my season tickets (Oilers) with three buddies and we do a draft for tickets. The first games to go in the draft are always Leafs and Habs. Not because we want to see those teams but because I can recoup a decent portion of my costs back from selling those tickets. It baffles me what desperate fans will pay to see their team play. I’m more than happy to oblige them.

  19. Just for reference.

We went to the last Toronto vs Ottawa game in Ottawa a couple weeks back for a bachelor party, 5 guys. Tickets were $150ea. Stayed 2 nights, hotel cost $701 total, $140ea. Drove up from Hamilton. Gas was $36ea. Plus meals + drinks.

The drive is a long shitty one to be honest, wouldn’t do it again in the near future. We were lucky enough to see one of the best games of the year though.

Not sure how much tickets plus 1 night in TO would of cost in comparison.
