Marco Kasper speaks ahead of his NHL Debut in Toronto
Detroit Red Wings 2022 1st round pick in the NHL Draft, Marco Kasper, speaks with the media ahead of the Red Wings matchup with the Leafs in Toronto on Sunday, April 2nd.
Kasper will make his NHL debut with the Red Wings.
I think he's actually going to make an impact out there. He's still in hockey shape from his season in the SHL and Newsy obviously sees something that could help because he's playing between Copp and Raymond tonight. Should be fun to watch! It's so cool seeing these kids from their draft night to their first games. These past 4 years have been a really cool time to follow the wings. Maybe not the most fun record-wise, but to see everything unfold is just so cool.
Why does it seem like the players are handed a jersey number on this team and have no choice in the matter? The only two who seemed like they had a number never seen for a while are Raymond and Mo. Maybe because its still in season so they just had Namestnikov's ready from last year and slapped Kasper's name on it but comon man, I wanna see new jersey numbers especially from are potentially best young players. Be unique, a jersey number that's different from all the others and hasn't been seen or even worn on the Wings in some time would be cool to see, no rehashing the same numbers please Wings.
