I don’t want to see this kid in juniors next year. What’s the chance he makes the team?

Not very high. He likely goes back to juniors. Maybe gets a few games tryout
He might get a pre season to show what he got but he will most likely play in qmjhl next season. However it’s compeletely possible that he makes it as a 3rd liner (especially if team goes with Laine as a center again)
I love this guys resting bitch face. I also love that he asked people to call him “Pit Viper”
Kid sounds like a trip
Edit:
To satisfy the audience: apparently it wasn’t Dumais that asked, it just got repeated enough times it came off that way. This is extremely important information, Ill never make this egregious of a mistake again!!! I’m sorry I misquoted that a 19 year old junior hockey player coined a nickname, it was actually someone else, and because it caught on with enough people, it wasn’t clear.
Are we all done now? Can we stop sending me PMs? How much explaining do we need me to do on this? FFS
I thought I heard he had to stay in juniors one more year per agreement. But I don’t know that is true.
He could get his up to nine games before being sent back to Halifax. But he should definitely get the WJC experience in December that he was denied this past year. Let him get a couple games here to see what he needs to work on, then send him to beat up the Q for another year.
Not sure what the rules are but I’d rather have him in Cleveland than juniors. He has nothing left to prove in the Q
It’s probably best to stay in juniors another year for dev and to see if this level of scoring is sustainable. Then you bring him up to AHL to see if it translates there.
