I don’t have any high expectations on a over hyped player , he may but more than likely to much work to evolve him.3 or 4 th line player how’s his defense???
Tocchet's assessment is quite fair. You can see the individual skills in isolation, but he's been pretty snake bitten on a few chances early on and you can see his confidence and motivation have both taken a hit. Would I rather see Kravtsov play over Di Giuseppe and Dries? Sure. Does Kravtsov deserve their spot in the lineup? No. He's got to show the coaches that he's willing to do what it takes to stay in the lineup every night.

Yeah, I agree with Tocchet he isn’t making an impact and needs to work harder. I also 100% agree with your point in the first few games I was thinking “wow, this guy has potential.” His last few game not so much I’d rather keep McDonough and Studnicka in the lineup over him.
I completely agree. Krastov, McDonagh, Pods, Klimavich, Hogs, Karlsson all in the same boat. If two become top 6 that's great. Three would be amazing. Kratsov may not be one of them.

Vitali Bustov
First thing I noticed was how poor his puck control is, especially receiving passes. He bobbled the puck almost every time he received it when I watched.
He needs to stay in Abbotsford all next year, work on his fitness, play, work ethic.
I have not been impressed. McDonaugh has shown more in 2 games. Kratsov will not stick.

no mystery why kravtsov couldn't crack the ranger's line up. under whelming performances so far. ironically, he was a linemate of podkolzin who was picked 3 spots before boldy and is having problems staying with vancouver club.
When i first saw Kravtsov my first impression was this guy needs to take a happy pill. He looks like he dosen't want to be in North America. He has no emotion and in this game if you don't have emotion your basically done. I think he wants to be back in Russia with his family. There seems to be a lack of interest, care and intensity to the game. That's what i see and its become worse over the last few weeks. New York is not going to get rid of an 8th pick overall player just like that. They see what i see. Waste of time.
