The Dallas Stars (40-20-14) are back it tonight in Arizona. They’ll take on the Coyotes at Mullet Arena for the final time this season. Before discussing the game, we take some time to show some love to debatably the most underrated Dallas Star. Ty Dellandrea has had a quietly solid season and his contributions are felt on both ends of the ice. We reflect on his journey to being a full-time NHL player and how he and the Stars can get a win on Friday night in the desert.

Ty is an absolute workhorse. Even when the rest of the team is sluggish – the effort is always there from him.
Love Ty and his game. One of the high energy …. Work ethic guys , that plays good responsible hockey. He will be a mainstay on the 2nd and 3rd lines for years to come .
Imagine a massive shutout on the coyotes
LOVE the podcast man. Listen to you everyday at 5am on the way to work. Keep em coming! And Ty is definitely a solid player. I think he’ll be here for a while
I was in living in Hartford CT about 10 years ago when a young player named JT Miller was an up and coming prospect for the NY Rangers; playing for the Hartford Wolfpack in the AHL.
Dellandrea reminds me exactly of a young JT Miller. If it turns out that he develops into a JT Miller (without the crappy attitude) then we have a winner!
I've been bragging on this guy all season. He is a grinder. Plays aggressive and wins board battles. Puts the pressure on with the forecheck and doesn't let up on the rest of the ice. Love to see it.
