Let’s do this! The Cult of Hockey podcast. By the Faithful and for the Faithful, tonight with Bruce McCurdy and David Staples. They dig into Edmonton’s 6-0 win over the Ducks of Anaheim.
I don’t think very many of us had any faith left in Campbell. But he sure earned it in the first. He was incredibly lucky on the first shot..and then the ducks missed a completely open net later. But he earned this win and the shut-out! Also, hopefully some trust from me an you.
Thanks for your podcast gents! It makes being an Oiler fan even more fun. I appreciate the collating and digging up of data to substantially back up the points you make, whether it be to defend a player's performance or to ring an alarm. Btw, the chip in Bruce's brain I think far precedes Elon Musk's tech.

I was really happy with Leon sand Gibson. Leon bumped him on his first goal and checked to see if he was hurt and apologized before he celebrated. I appreciated that.
Now, THIS, is the team I/we've been all waiting for. So happy for Jack Campbell showing up in this game. Maybe the Oilers are finally taking this team seriously.
What a funny year. Most players on the Oilers are having career years but man the first 1/2 of the season it did not seem good. In moments they looked good but more than not it wasn't. The last half they are on a tear. The additional players added Big Vin, Ekholm, Bugstadt and Kane from injury has sure shored up this team.
Nurse was cross-checked from behind causing him to fall face-forward into the shot from…dunno who. Lucky for Nurse and the oilers, he didn'T get injured.

Injury remains my number one concern going into the playoffs. #2 concern is goaltending, but they are going into this with the right foot forward.
