  1. Life is tough enough without others making it harder. Strange how some can only feel good about themselves by holding others down.

  2. The comment section here is very sad to see. Too many people not understanding what this is about. I take pride (no pun intended) in Edmonton and its history with Pride night, and I hope they don't stop just because of negative people. Hockey should be for everyone, it's the greatest sport IMO, and I want to see it grow. For anyone in the community who feels deterred by some of these comments, ignore them. Soon they will be outnumbered by people who correctly believe hockey should be for all.

  3. I'm curious…If the the NHL, for whatever reason had a "Jesus is king" night, and all players were required to wear a piece of jewelry with a cross around their neck, and some, who are atheist refused, would there be major push back against these people in the major press? If not why not?

  4. the definition of profound insanity—-having straight people pound the drums for those who arent.
where is humiliation night?—-having gays running around screaming for the straight!

  5. They just can’t let us watch sports. They have to jam political garbage down our throat. Why? Nobody asked for politics.

  6. Sad….. I'll never support Pride… but ill still love anyone for whomever they are.
Move it out from the NHL please. Sad to know it started in Edmonton. Shouldn't be proud of this at all.
