I really think we do the Mrázek deal again. Trade Murray and Boston’s first for a late 2nd, sign Sammy with the savings, and run Samsonov-Woll as the tandem.

I get it because he’s hurt a lot, but let’s not pretend that Samsonov or Woll would have been guaranteed to be okay after falling on their head like that. It was really unlucky. Murray may have been pulled purely for precautionary reasons too, we could see him next game.

Dubas is smart to get rid of injury types.. Murray simply has had bad ju ju ever since he got hurt in Pittsburgh.. the guy can’t catch a break for whatever reason..

I can’t see this happening for the fact that when fully healthy, murray has been excellent and his injuries seem to be random unconnected incidents rather than a serious recurring one. he should be given a chance to win the net out of training camp.

Honestly it might be more of a robidas island situation. The amount of injuries this man has had takes a toll on the body. At some point you have to look at it and ask if it’s worth it. If he sits on IR all year he still makes his money, just stay home and live life.
