29 out of 32 playoff appearances all time for Washington … They have been out in the first or second round! Are any Capitals fans surprised by this usual failure? My favorite saying … "When the tough gets going … The Capitals are done!"

Caps GM has already publicly said he's planning to make changes this summer. Washington is now in the Bedard lottery and even if they don't, they are going to get a good prospect. Laviolette is gone this summer so Washington will have a new coach. A long summer could be really good for the older guys to heal up. Remember Wilson and Backstrom missed camp and the first few months. Before they came back, Carlson went out for months. Oshie has been injured all year. Those guys rest up and a new coach comes in – a few trades – Washington could be in the playoffs next year.
Washington is such a shitshow. DPoS allows them to play like a glorified beer league squad.
