Yeah but he hasn’t won a Stanley Cup so he definitely isn’t getting in the lineup of the big club for a while.

The farm team has been doing a great job of developing prospects and maxing out the potential of our late round picks. Ryan Huska and now Mitch Love seem like great development coaches. Will be interesting how many players push for a full time spot next year.
Zary, Wolf, Pelletier, Poirier, Coronato, Duehr all look like guaranteed NHLers and there is a decent list of players pushing below this top tier of talent.

Zary and Wolf will be Flames next year. Leaving the Wranglers with a track record of success will be invaluable for their development. And the big club will have made it through the tough transition from the Johnny, Mony, Chucky era.
September is just a better time for a call up.

Ehh I think poirer is still a season out but he’s taken a huge step, so maybe he is ready for a look next year.
The way I see it our expiring ufas are spots that open up for the best out of duehr, pelts, coronato and zary
And I think we trade 1 or 2 guys that will be expiring ufas next year (rn i think it’s vladar and hanifin/zadorov) to clear cap s0ace but we’ll see when it comes up I guess
