Oh well, the team played well enough to win. Just a bad bounce that went right to the guy in the slot. I said before the first VGK game that I’d be happy with 4-1-2 to round out the season. That means we have to go 5-0-1 to finish. Difficult but possible now.
When is the last time zuccarello scored in a shootout? Dude does the same thing every time, coasts in, and tries a soft shot right into the goalie

Wild played pretty well, unfortunate outcome. 1/4 points against Vegas in the back to back probably sadly puts the division title as a very unlikely outcome given the relative schedule difficulty between the top 3 in the central. Oh well, on to Pit.
The only take away I got from this game is it is ok to run players from behind and then have the team that the player that got ran from behind is on go on a penalty kill
Can’t be that pissed.. but yeah we fucking deserved that win. I don’t know what it is about this team but no matter what, if it’s a 1 goal game and we’re leading with 3 minutes left.. our guys just start doing weird shit and make little mistakes to let the other team come back.. like it feels like all the god damn time.
After the stars win tonight we will have officially clinched a spot in the playoffs and believe it or not still be tied for 1st place.. so not a horrible outcome.
Edit: also I really hope someone clips that little girl chirping the goalie. I would love to see how r/hockey reacts to that also I want Jomboy to break that one down.
