I saw this on on TV when it happened. It was a **nasty** game throughout, and the brawl that erupted was inevitable.

Dan Cloutier out of nowhere to beat the shit out of Salo was unexpected, though.

Smelly fishsticks must be embarrassing for any asslanders left running around town. I couldn’t decide which teams are worse:

    devils
    islanders
    bruins
Or that “f” team down in Philly.

Loved this era even if they sucked. Guaranteed entertainment for every rival game.

I was 10 and was at this game with my mom remember it being an early start after my soccer game…greatest game I’ve ever been to. I was more of a fan of my favorite players (Forsberg, Lemieux, Sakic, Bure, Leetch) than the Rangers at the time. This moment changed that.

I vividly remember Cloutier tearing down the ice, beating the shit out of him, and challenging the bench. Thought it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. Rooted for the Rangers ever since.

    Thanks mom.

  5. P.J Stock and Dan Cloutier were awesome. That specific game will go down as one of the most memorable games in my existence other than 94 cup and 2014 run to the finals.
