The #CBJ have agreed to terms with F Yegor Chinakhov on a 1-yr extension for 2023-24, $800k one-way NHL deal.
Believe he burned the first year of his ELC in 2021 as incentive to leave the KHL earlier than usual for young Russian players.

gonna be a big year next year for him
Hopefully he can stay healthy and live up to the flashes of brightness we saw this season.

I felt he made a big jump in his play till he got injured. I really hope he can stay healthy
I think it had to happen this way because of the 10.2c rule. Hasn’t played enough games to get his full RFA rights.
He didn’t really have a lot of leverage for a bigger deal. If he can avoid injury I think we’ll see a jump in production
Weird that doesn’t say lifetime contract?
