  1. I honestly don't believe Seravalli here. What has he ever reported when it comes to the Canucks that was accurate? Did he call the Miller signing last summer? What about Horvat to the Islanders? Hronek trade? The guy lives off of that time he managed to get some inside info before the Seattle expansion draft went down.

  2. JT had trade value before the canucks signed him to that horrendous contract

He is already in his "twilight" years. He will never get to 99 points again

He currently has pretty much 0 trade value. No team in their right mind will go after miller

  3. Pittsburgh would be the perfect landing spot for Miller, imo. Crosby, Malkin and Letang will retire with the team, Miller is a mature player in his prime and the team management doesn’t mind players aging out like other teams do. He’d have boosted them into the playoffs much more than Zucker would that’s for sure. Place him on the top PP unit with the 3 of them + Guentzel and you got some solid skill. They could have even moved Malkin up to play on Crosby’s wing on a regular basis and made Miller the 2nd line center, too. They are headed toward rebuild once their vets retire anyway, might as well support them with the most skillful players they can right now before then..

  4. I am not sold that Allvin made a huge mistake. What year where those 1st round picks? And Pittsburg is in position to make the playoffs, if they do then those picks won't be in the best position. And would even one of those picks turn out to be a JT Miller. He is still 29 i believe. You don't wan't a strong veteran presence with all the young players we got in our line up? I dunno maybe i am wrong.

  5. That’s sad Alvin big L the Gm meant when they r dumping money they meant under 2.5 million dollars

  6. What do you mean wishy washy. He had a bad start, who says that happens again next year. Yeah the trade would have been great for us but miller is an amazing player

  7. Trade Miller for 2 1st round picks. Maybe one of them becomes as good as Brock Boeser in 5-6 years, when Pettersson himself is 30 years old. Then maybe make the playoffs for 2-3 years until Pettersson is 33-34 years old. Get bounced 1st round each year. This is what whiney fans want, but didn't get with this failed trade.

  8. I only caught the first half of this vid so apologies if this was covered, but Pittsburgh first rounders are not like Canucks first rounders. Those picks are low. Secondly, it only takes one GM to cancel a deal. Don't blame or guy for not going through with it when it was most likely the other GM that killed the trade. Finally, I actually like the way Miller is playing now. He had a rough start to the year, but is now flying out there and looking very much like the guy from last year that dominated for us.

  9. The Canucks will have 16 more suitors in the off-season while JT has upped his value… Allvin is a genius, it’s not like Miller will get less in the off-season when other teams have cap room…. Zucker is ufa this summer, the reason it didn’t happen is because allvin couldn’t find a third team to take Zucker for a return.

  10. What if the Canucks tanked… they go to maybe 5th… tocchet has made leaps and bounds with Hughes ft AHL D on the back end

  11. Not that bad of a trade for the Pens TBH. Of course they lose on their future, but they gain current talent, since Miller is in his prime now. That's the whole point of gambling for the Cup. They got to give Crosby 1 more epic run for the Cup.

  12. if the pens had pulled the trigger on this deal, they wouldn't be on the outside looking in and down 2-0 to the NJD at the end of the first right now.

  13. I'm not surprised this deal fell through. As much as I like JT Miller, 2 first round picks plus a dependable veteran would be too much for him. Smart move by Pittsburgh not to pull the trigger on a deal like that, where the price was getting too high for what they'd have gotten. IF they were a contender looking to get JT as a rental for a cup push, OK, but a team on the decline looking towards an inevitable rebuild in another season or 2, not so much.
