Evan Marinofsky of New England Hockey Journal and Conor Ryan of Boston.com discuss David Pastrnak going for 60 goals. They also get into Linus Ullmark’s case for the Vezina. By the way…is there any chance the Bruins use both Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman in the playoffs?

They could but Ullmark has been the best goaltender in the league this year, likely to have his name on the Vezina. Better they share the Jennings and better still, the Cup.
Rotate them through the playoffs. Ullmark and Swayman are good because neither needs to carry load
Do not be shy to rest some of the star players down the stretch. Just for fear of injuries, take into consideration the full 82-game schedule leaves a 21-28 game playoff run fully in check with the physical intensity of the NHL. The points in a season record of 132 is within reach but they can't do it in 80 games to match the authenticity of the Habs that were so dominant in the 70s with no shootouts beyond overtime. The Stanley Cup is the real prize and focusing on the transition to playoff preparation is key. Good luck Bruins, Pens vs Bruins is the black-and-white market share the NHL loves, leave the kitty cats on the bench. 🍾
Also the goalie rotation has worked so far hence possibly the best team in league history, maybe don’t fix something that isn’t broken. Having them be rested and focused from this could be something that is contributing to this epic year and maybe a key factor to winning these upcoming series without having to go to 6/7 games. Also it keeps the opponent on their toes having to prepare for a different guy every other game not allowing them to get comfortable in their heads being able to shoot without thinking to the same spot one goalie is weaker on… just a thought
I think Shohei is the best athlete in the world. To be able to be an ace pitcher along with a dangerous power hitter is something that sport hasn’t seen in almost a hundred years.
Edit: He also can steal bases with the best of them.
Sway has been much better after the allstar break it does seem. Hes gotten betrr
Nothing against Swayman, but I don't want to see him (except on the bench) in the playoffs. At all.
I can't watch any sports related content without hearing about sports betting apps,
it's beyond annoying.
Absolutely disgusting
that desperation backhand across the blue line gotta stop with pasta , u aint gotta play , dump it deep
They should both play, so they can both earn their Stanley Cup rings. If the Bruins win with Ullmark playing every second in the playoffs, it will be interesting to see the Rask haters explaining how Swayman deserves his Stanley Cup ring, but Rask didn't in 2011. If they lose with Ullmark playing every second, the fans will say 'we would have won with Swayman'. That's how this fanbase works.

McDavid is pulling in assists, but he's not scoring a lot lately… In the words of Kevin Garnett- "Anything is possible"
Sway and ullmark are actually different style goalies-it's going to depend on who they're playing and where.
We know generally Jeremy does better at home
Ullmark takes on most Canadian teams better… He can handle some of those Eastern European beasts. And that's 6 ft 5 in, he can track that puck easier.
It's going to depend on the situation, who's injured on the defensive lines, but my opinion doesn't count, I trust goalie Bob, hands down. Whatever he says? Goes
Jeremy's doing absolutely awesome. We just don't want his learning curve right now to affect his overall career.
