  1. If anyone was wondering why Bennington has been acting the way he has the man just let you know. Enough said. GM needs to do his job. Get the bad out bring the good in. Blues officially in a complete rebuild. Time to watch some rough play the next few years.

  2. The Blues have the best PK in the league. The problem is the that they are killing their own PP. Continuously passing around the perimeter, they don't funnel the puck to the net; and no fight or net front presence and few dirty goals scored. This lack of work ethic really shows up when the other team pulls their goalie, and the amount of the goals scored by the opposition with the extra attacker. This lack of work ethic is also illustrated by the number of goals scored by the opposition when the Blues pull their goalie, and the few if any goals scored by the Blues with the extra attacker. It seems to me that Armstromg put the Blues future in the hands of Thomas and Kyrou prematurely.

  3. No sympathy. Team has been gutted
Since the financial windfall of winning the Cup. Greed has destroyed the team.

  4. We all know the players hes talking about. They certainly dont look like $8M/year players. Going to be a rough 8 years if this is what we can expect.

  5. Ironic, 2 days ago,was the anniversary of this: > Feb. 22, 1980, US Olympic men's hockey team shocks Soviets in 'Miracle on Ice' <. A bunch of amateur college dudes beating one of the best hockey teams ever seen. When you're really a pro, a leader in life, you had to lead like a pro, no matter what.

  6. This may be a reach, but do you think that a Kyrou may get dealt? Berube seems to have had problems with him in the past and the Blues need a top defenseman like a Jakob Chychrun from Arizona who has been rumored to be on the trading block for some time now. Do you think that is a reach?

  7. This is the "Curse of David Perron." I'm telling you. Not simply because he was let go, but because Doug Armstrong treated him poorly in lack of negotiations. And lied to the media/fans about desires to bring him back.

If you noticed, last year's team was one player away from Stanley Cup contender (top big defensman) and healthy Binnington. Almost same team this year, and they fell apart.

  8. I really like Berube but he just can't seem to motivate the boys the right way. They make so many mental errors in all their losses. When they do win, they don't. Mental errors happening frequently is almost always the coach's fault.
