David Pastrnak Deserves More Respect

This video talks about the fantastic season David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins is having. He is one of, if not the best winger in the NHL right now and needs to be getting even more recognition in my opinion. The Bruins also just resigned him to an 8 year extension and the biggest contract in the team’s history.

  1. Great and timely video, as some have just attributed his success to being a Bruin and clearly your video shows the differential in how good he is compared to the other Bruins and his +/- differential is clear evidence of his superiority, when comparing to other Bruins; the most in depth team in decades.

  2. He definitely deserves as much attention as the other superstars of the league. Players like McDavid and Matthews gather so much attention (understandably so) but I think Boston's incredible season might have overshadowed Pasta's individual accomplishments 🤷‍♂️

  3. Without a doubt he’s a top 3 winger in the league, arguably top 5 player in the league. That contract was an absolute steal for the bruins, this guys a beast

  4. GREAT video! I feel like ppl still don’t really respect him as a truly elite player.

  5. Anyone know why he was so low in the first round? Ppl knew he was going to be good from day one so idk why he slipped so far… but REEAAL happy he did!

  6. You could talk about him as a person also ….😮 anyone that has lost a child at a young age understands how traumatic it is . To come back a year later and be the best winger in the world is a statement on who this Man is .. Love pasta❤

  7. Don't forget, in his only full season since his breakout year (due to two COVID shortened seasons) his NEWBORN BABY died. The kid is only gonna get better.

  8. He does not get enough respect around this league. As good and deep as the Bruins are (and they are) what are they without? You can't win if you don't score. He has 29 more goals than their 2nd leading scorer.

  9. I can't be objective here cause I love Pastrňák and he, and the bruins ofc, is the reason i watch hockey so for me he's the best I'll always want him to get more recognition cause he's not only a fantastic player but more importantly a fantastic person 🖤💛

  10. The only downside to his game is a ton of turnovers because he rarely tries to make a safe, high-percentage play and consistently tries to force plays that aren't there. Which makes it even more impressive that he's potentially going to hit 60 goals and is over 100 points this year.

  11. Best sniper in the league! Can LEGIT do as many goals than ovi in his career, but ovi is old and still good soo

  12. I respect this shit out of this guy. But I'm for the whole team, can't choose fav of your kids! (But he's def my fav)

  13. Conner mcdavid has one of the quickest burst to top speed, handles the biscuit as good as anyone but for me pasta is the purest sniper in the league

  14. I’m a bruins fan and have a pasta jersey, but he gets enough respect already…until he sorts out his top 3 in the league giveaway numbers he’s never gonna be a top tier player. As much as it’s great to celebrate his scoring it’s just as infuriating when he chucks a blind pass out to the blue line and the other team gets a huge breakaway, thank the lord for ullmark lol

  15. Nothing says respect like the dog and pony show they put him through at the All-Star "skills competition"

  16. Only drawback to his game that I notice is on nights when the team isn’t clicking (obviously rare this season) he has a tendency to make some pretty egregious turnovers trying to start a rush
