Time. Time. Time. This is a division where 2 weeks figuring it out can easily mean your out of the playoffs. Yes baseball is a long season but your in the east . This isn’t news. You gotta come out and want it all 162.
My fingers are crossed to see this team succeed. However my doomer hat is sitting here in my lap. Chapman whit kk all gone next year. Replaced with Barger biggio and espy. Belt gone too(yes!!!!!!!!!). I guess Martinez could be a regular next year too.
That sets up Bo and Vlad potentially leaving right around the corner. When you step back it could go very very very poorly in the east.

Please Jacob, I want the full psychological analysis on me? lol. Mark, I believe the start against Flaherty was due to his command. The hitters couldn't get a feel & rhythm, cause of his command. With Bassitt, they need to find a path to go forward cause it looks like they didn't have a game plan. Management gave Manoah 2 chances and now I believe Gausman will start game #1 in the playoffs. I’m sick of talking about Bo’s defense. Everybody worships Derek Jeter who’s one of the worst defensive players ever (let alone shortstops) but dunks on Bo. I’ve seen Bo make plays that I genuinely don’t see any other shortstop in the league making. I’ve never seen a Bo error cost us a game (wildcard game was just as much Springer as Bo don’t even get me started). I have seen it from Marcus Semien, Vladdy, Biggio, Kirk, Teoscar. Even if you want to blame bo for the wild card, even if you want to blame bo for whatever. He isn’t the reason that this team hasn’t been deep into the playoffs, but he could be the reason this team DOES get deep in the playoff.
