the disrespect for monty is real
looking good
price will be going back to…making old black and white horror movies.or is that vincent price his great uncle,
The wont get far with their current goaltending.
Too many Small prospects to go with the already too many small starter's 😮This team is better suited for the Euro leagues Not the NHL
I think Montreal is gonna be great team in the next 3-4 years, most likely we are gonna end up with 1-6th overall along with 10-15 pick for this years draft, i like benson and sale, wouldnt mind smith but thats 2 solid picks in a very deep draft, to put in context how deep this draft is, logan cooley who went third overall and projected 2nd overall last year, will smith who is projected 6-8th is having a better draft year with even worst players in the uspd, along with that, lane hutson who was drafted 62nd overall at 5'8 is now 5'10 and is rumored to be almost 5'11 now would def have gone top 5 if he was at that height in his draft year, thats not even considering what hes doing in nscc having the best freshmen year ever for any dman and the 5th most points all time for a dman in the nscc, if the 2022 draft was today hutson without a doubt would have gone first overall, i think he is the best prospect in the league rn that has been drafted, plus guhle who i think is gonna turn out to be a great top 2 two way dman, barron is solid, not so high on harris but he is still really young, and:))))) we all know within 2-3 years, rumor is most likely this draft pld is gonna become a Canadian, flames offered us a first round pick for josh anderson and we rejected, im positive its for pld, i think suk and pld top 6 plus the wingers and great d prospects we got, the future is bright
Gallagher is being paid what he is now because he was always underpaid in the past, when he was one of the greasiest goal scorerers and the heart of the habs. He is a true hab inside and out, a leader by example, and I dont mind his salary nearly as much as JD or Hoff's
Montreal Candians will hopefully make the playoffs next year in 2024
As a Habs fan, I must admit I admire how the Bruins are doing right now.
I wish Montreal will come back on top and have high stake games against them and then revive that legendary rivalry.
I LUV IT HOW THE HABS FANS ALWAYS THINK THEY DESERVE #1 PICK NO MATTER WHAT.. THE DUCKS IN 30 YEARS NEVER PICKED 1ST. mason mctavish is waiting for his BFF.. DEAL WITH IT
The Habs are missing a star…draft Will Smith
Guy really pronounced Xhekaj “hi-yack” 😂
You have a tv bro?
They were bad this year because the Draft is deep in Talent, particularly in the top 5. AND there is a generational wizzard named Bedard available to those who qualify for the Draft Lottery.
Price is done
I'm not sure that I fully understand how the draft system works. I had thought that its intention was that teams with the most money could not load up on the best players and create an imbalance in the league. The position where Boston seems to be in right now. Montreal used to have farm teams where they developed the young players, and brought the best prospects up to the NHL Team. Like they did on the SC winning teams of yore. Excellent players can demand high salaries, and I understand there is some sort of total team salary Cap. Is that "Cap" amount of money the same for all Teams?? So you have to trade off one higher salary for two lower salaries sort of thing?? A Stanley Cup winning team needs great offence, great defence, and a great goalie. As well as great puck handling and scoring they need great speed. They need great coaching, and the development of play systems and speciality teams. (penalty offence, and penalty defence) And even after all that there is a certain amount of luck required that they don't get too many injuries during the playoff run.
Xhekaj is pronounced Jack-eye.
Caufield would have had 45 goals kid is unreal
I really do believe Gally can comeback next year and be a 20 goal player again. Marty's teaching him how to be effective without destroying himself and so far his last four games since coming back from Injury have been much better. Another off-season of recovering should do the trick hopefully.
Good video. Although with the goalie situation, I do think Montembeault has a good shot at becoming our #1. He has improved A LOT since starting with us 2 years ago, has shown great poise in the net and fits in great with our young core. I believe he will continue to improve and earn a #1 spot, with Jake Allen continuing as backup. If Primeau improves as well, maybe they’ll end up splitting the net in the future!
I love Gally but it's better to trade him now while the value is still high..battle injuries are taking their tole
Nice video
Price sold his house in Montreal, he is done.
Nice summary. I agree with the goaltending being the biggest question mark moving forward. The performance of Premieu the other night was nice to see, his recent play when given a shot in the nhl wasn’t promising. Monty I think gives them a chance to either see what they currently have develops into, or mobilize their assets to trade for an elite goalie if nothing from our system steps up in the next year or two.
Depends when they get Dubois. You add him to the current top 6 and stay healthy… habs will scratch playoffs.
Good content
The Habs have some great looking prospects on D. If even half of them pan out then they'll have a solid D-core for years. Their current top 6 isn't too shabby either if everyone is healthy. Their biggest problem is forward depth and goaltending imo
Bro said Xhekaj like he was Salma Hayek's son
how tf did you pronounce xhekaj
They have a large quantity of prospects but where’s the real quality?
To me the D situation is much much more of a worry than the goalie is. Monty has been more than enough he's just played behind a group of guys in front that aren't playing as balanced and poised as they should, it even shows on offensive rushes, a lot of impatience in that too young of a team. A Dubois would be a good 2-way addition in that regard.
On top of that you have main D guys guys like Edmundson and Savard who have been underperforming most of the season, Savard is producing a lot offensively, but he's been such a liability defensively on way too many games, from a guy of his stature, experience and all that is supposed to carry the team like a Burns does in Carolina, that's simply not acceptable.
So, if they don't shop the Panthers pick around and if it ends up high enough, i would love for them to go for Reinbacher, most likely the very best Defensive D in this draft, a righty who could end up being a perfect match to Mailloux or Hutson to balance their offensiveness with the high level of security he provides.

Xhekaj is not pronounced Hayek
it’s “Jack-Eye”
The Canadiens are prone to be injury riddled. If this continues, they'll have a very hard time advancing.
I would be shocked if Carey Price ever plays another NHL game (for ANY team).
Not hating but.. learn how to pronounce names.
I think your dreaming. Not saying they wont be an average team in a few years just that there is no top end talent, Usually teams need a star.
They will be Beasts in a few years, great management. Finaly…
The Montréal Canadiens, on paper, are FAR from a bad team. They are a pretty solidly deep team almost all the way down. The problem with them is that almost every guy there is made of glass. If they can stay healthy for a season or so they could be a really tough team to play against a little while down the road
We need a goalie !!!!!
my man butchered xhekaj's name lmao. it's pronounced "jack-eye" not "kayak"
Everyone is injured
Fact of the matter is we need a tendy
I don’t mind gally tho cause he deserves it for when he was maybe the best valued contract before he signed that one it was like payback for him taking team friendly deals when he was younger
Monty and dobeš will be our future goalie tandem
My boy didn’t mention Caufield once…
Its not Hi-Ek its pronounced Jackeye. Gally is great to have for leadership even at 6.5 I think he still has a few surprises
