The only thing the Canucks organization have been doing well for the past decade was farming out elite goalies. Schneider, Miller, Lack, Markstrom, Demko, Luongo etc. They may not have all stayed elite afterward, but they were during their time in Vancouver. That's why Vancouver is considered the "goalie graveyard" of the NHL, because they always have two #1 goalies fighting for the starting job and one ends up having to leave or traded. The problem is that they would develop their goalies then give them out like free candies to other NHL teams.
