  1. Honestly this is such a deep draft I would keep both picks. Montreal has so many other assets they can move. Don't rush this rebuild the are still so many big pieces missing.

  2. If Sandin-Pellikka or Reinbacher are still on the board I would keep the pick bc I feel we need one more guy to fill the top 4 with Guhle, Matheson and eventually Hutson

  3. I waited the whole video for you to namedrop Pierre-Luc Dubois, I'm glad I didn't wait for nothing. I think PLD is the obvious choice here and if the rumors are true and that he really wants to leave Winnipeg and join Montreal, I could see him go for that first round pick and someone that's starting to reach the NHL level, like Jessie Ylonen or if the pick sucks, RHP. I know it sounds cheap and a playstation trade, but keep in mind that you're basically paying for one year of PLD instead of just getting him for free as a UFA.

  4. PLD we are Habs fans
Chanel more predictable than my next bowel movement.
Talking about bowel movements its Pride Night in MTL
Hope Gurianov scores a Hat Trick

  5. Florida's 1st + Josh Anderson for Dubois. Habs will clear 5.5 mill off their cap and Jets will get a decent roster player. That could work.

  6. The Florida 1st round pick will not be used to acquire a player that would earn a high salary north of Suzukis contract. We do not have the cap space to do that. Even with the salaries we lose this summer, we have big contracts to sign still.
If we trade this pick I expect it to be for a Dach 2.0 That will require a lower priced contract and a younger player. Dubois is coming for free via UFA. Dubois is Winnipeg's problem. He will become UFA and join the Habs when we are ready to absorb his salary in the future.
Dubois does not have to sign more than 1 year and he will be UFA.

  7. So who's this C Graf kid out of Quinnipiac, from Boston area? Go Slafkovsky, Go Slafkovsky, Go Slafkovsky!!!

  8. If the trade is announced at the draft table, it will add drama to the proceedings. Looking forward to that.

  9. The theory of tanking is mostly empty. Tanking doesn’t explain why the Blackhawks or Montreal beat teams in the top 15-20. This has been happening often. If teams truly wanted to tanks, they wouldn’t win these games. Not just winning but celebrating a lot with each goal. Come on people
