Been a Nuge fan since he got drafted and for him to FINALLY reach his full potential after all these years… getting 100 points tonight… I'm so proud of the guy.

Before this game started tonight I bought an dark blue and orange jersey and had it sent off immediately to be turned into a nugent hopkins jersey. Well deserved milestone today. Couldn't be happier with him over the years!
Everyone commenting about how great this Islanders team is, from 2010-2015 they had 4 number 1 overall draft picks, and the 3rd overall in 2014, and they still haven't reached a final yet.
You could see by Hymans reaction he was more happy for the Nuge than the Nuge was. The Leafs were fools to lose such a heart and soul type player. Guys like him win you cups. Congrats to RNH a milestone a long time in coming.
I cant think of another player and more importantly another oiler who deserves this more than Nuge. He's an incredibly gifted player year in and year out and gets better every season and he's been here for 12 years and gone through some of the teams darkest most painful years to watch as a fan and some of the most unsuccessful and disappointing years for a team. Not to mention even after all the bad times he's been through with this team, he took a team friendly deal to stay with them long term and possibly until close to the end of his career. That loyalty and dedication to a team makes him so deserving of this feat and as an oilers fan I couldn't be more happy for him.
As much as I love this moment, should've used the oilers broadcast for this call. This one is quite boring honestly and it would make more sense to use the broadcast of the team that the player getting the achievement plays for. But that's my personal opinion
As a Sabres fan who will probably once again see his team miss the playoffs, I am hoping the Oilers can go and win the Cup. It would be legendary to see McDavid hoist Lord Stanley's Cup.
