Hubs can't be traded for the first 4 yrs of his contract and I don't think you can trade Kadri even if you wanted too
Sutter VS Everyone else is the point.
Tre brings in creative offence minded players. Yes or no? Yes.
Sutter has the playing shutdown defence and THEY CAN"T PLAY THAT WAY !!!!
There is the #1 #2v #3 #4 and #5 problem.
Sutter wants to kill the offence inside every player's brain for Defence.
We are doomed with this coach. Period.
He will not adjust to the roster in the slightest.
Add to that he has pet players whose mistakes than tank our season, Lucic and Markstrom, we will never make the playoffs with this coach who thinks he can recreate LA in Calgary in a league of Makars and Conners. He has no clue what to do with Hubby because Hubby is offensive. So Now Sutter brags "Hubby is a great defensive player" And we lose 55% of his production.

Oiler fan here, we'll take them both.. Hubby and Weeger for Yamamoto and Bouchard, a pick and a prospect and you retain 40% of Hubby's over paid salary. Hubby would be in dreamland with McDavid setting him up on every shift. Uncle Kenny…make the call.
if you look at the work ethic of the flames it is good…. not great…. but good. what we lack is talent

Huberdeau is a (slightly above) average player who is paid like a superstar. Nobody with a brain will take that contract without retention by the Flames. Kadri could probably be traded, for a diminished return (if they decide to tear the team down)
Why did Calgary not pick up forward Nick Bjugstad for the rest of the season ?? Get off your hands (a-s) You are not good enough to make the playoff right now ! You still have time do it.
