  1. Going to be feverishly checking for updates on Ek. Damn I hope it’s not a fracture or anything that may keep him out of the playoffs.

    IF he cannot go you’d think it would have to be Rossi time. I remember an Athletic article by Russo after KK went out that it didn’t make sense to call him up since a center wasn’t injured. Said coaching staff was happy with how Rossi was playing and that he’d likely get the call up if/when a center was injured.

    Having said that if he comes up PLEASE don’t stick him between Moose & Sunny/Duhaime whoever. We saw how the Steel experience worked out and Freddy isn’t the guy for a high end scoring line. Give Rossi a chance with legit skilled wingers and not a defensive checking line. Don’t know anything for certain right now so I don’t want to speculate on Ek being in or out.
