I only saw the highlight of Larkin going after skinner after the goal. What did Skinner do to piss Larkin off??
I know we are deeply injured and short without fabbri, Ras, Bert, vrana, sunny, an effective Zadina, etc, and…
…the kubalik-larkin-perron line still sucks. It never works consistently for us. Three good players but they just don’t mesh. I remember watching live in like the third game of the year against a terrible Hawks team, they were getting swarmed. Kubaliks lack of puck retrieval/support and Perron’s pace just don’t work together.
Hopefully see more if something else to close out the year. Would love to see what berggren could do with some minutes next to Larkin and perron.
Here’s a topic of discussion: At what point do you decide to ignore your defensive responsibilities in a close game to stick up for your teammate. It potentially cost us the game here, and obviously no shot at the playoffs so fuck it, send a message now not cheap shot our guys.
But what if we were fighting for a playoff spot?
All in all my question is: When the opposing team is creating an opportunity in your zone and your teammate gets cheap shotted behind the play, do you take care of your teammate or do you try to win the game?

It is endlessly entertaining to see the same fans who bitch about the “pussification” of hockey, and the lack of a knuckle dragging goon on the squad to have a circle jerk about Larkin abandoning his post to stick up for a young star who got hit up high.
We weren’t making playoffs anyways, he saw something he didn’t like, and took a stand. Good for him.
I made the mistake of looking at the Wings’ Twitter post of the final score last night. My god Buffalo fans are trash. By the way they were posting variations of “You got beat by Buffalo”, I honestly didn’t know if they were making fun of us or themselves. I hope our fans are better than this on other pages.
With our loss and the Blues and Canucks winning we’re back in the top 10.
Tank a thaon shows us at 12 but with us we having less points not sure how that’s accurate.
All things considered, getting 6 goals with half the Griffins roster out there was pretty nice!

Was watching the lightning islanders game last night as well hoping the islanders lost. Unfortunately the lightning played like dogshit. If I was a fan I’d be worried that this is the year the leafs do it.
The Islanders unfortunately look like they will make the playoffs the finish with a cupcake schedule of Philly Washington Montreal.
