I know that last game was a loss and eliminated us from the playoffs but I have to say it was entertaining!

Could not put a consistent run together but I am happy that the Sens are playing meaningful games.
Felt like that game was "scripted" and a bit WWE-ish with The Fights, Ejections, and an Official Elimination.
Don’t let Pierre do anymore moves again
Jeans and Sogy having poor performances doesn’t take away how awful Talbot was his last two games. All this means is we have three goalies that suck right now. Them playing poorly doesn’t make Talbot good. And I’d rather have the young guys get some experience in no pressure situations.
But I get Jeans being sent to Belleville.

Edit: I didn’t mean Sogy and Jeans suck overall. I just meant that in the “you’re only as good as your last game” sense. Last night, and until they have a bounce back game, all three of the aforementioned goalies are in the proverbial doghouse

Goaltenders sens might be looking at this summer: alex stalock, hes 35, and would be available for pretty cheap, and could be a good 1b. Another option is Connor Hallebuyck, since ir seems the jets are going to implode this summer, and hellebuyck has said he only wants to stay as long as they are competitive. His contract ends next summer, and the jets wont want to see him walk away for nothing, so they will likely trade him this summer
if they do their losing in overtime next year, they will be right up there with clinchers. that will happen when dj stops pulling the goalie with 4 minutes left in the game. after a summer off, everyone should be closer, and healthy.

The Sens last night copied too much the defence-last strategy that had too often been applicable to a Canucks' squad that had dropped so far out of the Western Conference playoff race to effectively be, by February, eliminated from qualifying for a 2023 playoff spot (despite only having been officially eliminated last weekend).
