Honest opinion, I work at the Saddledome. And to be honest yes Markstrom has been a bit better after the birth of his child but at the same time for being the "starter" for the Flames and that go to goalie when a win is needed, he is not performing at the level he needs to be.
My opinion maybe I'm talking non sense but Vladar has proven that he can hold his own in a game and he's capable at playing at the highest level, don't get me wrong he has a lot more to learn so I think the flames trade away Markstrom and get Vladar ready for that starter position as for the back up the Wranglers are coming off a massive opening season and Dustin Wolf has proved that he is the best goalie in the AHL countless times, I think its time he gets an opportunity in the Majors.
I remember the beginning of the season Canuck and flames fans talked about how bad the oilers actually are and that they would be more likely to win a cup well that's hard to do when neither make the playoffs
