It could be a lot worse…

I know a lot of us have been frustrated with the recent struggles and the possibility of losing the division title after leading most of the season, but the Winnipeg Jets are doing much worse. While we’re concerned about possibly finishing second and not doing well in the playoffs, the Jets, after being the top team in the Western Conference in January, are on the verge of missing the playoffs entirely and setting a record for biggest collapse.

At least qualifying for the playoffs isn’t at risk here.

I mean we have playoffs locked, losing first is less important than figuring out a fix to our offensive woes. I’d rather slip to second and have our guys then start dropping 4 or 5 goals a game than limp into the playoffs in first on a wing and a prayer only to get embarrassed by the Panthers.

I’m sure we’ll get it figured out… Rod will figure out the lines that work… the real work of the last four games is figuring out the line combinations and game 1 starter

Remember 2007-08 were leading the division most of the season ,but lost to Florida at home on the last day of the season and Caps clinched the title
