Carolina is a heck of a program …. JP may well fulfill his potential over there with Brind'amor. They run a tighter ship than Edmonton dotting I's and crossing T's. Entire lines are on the same page. Far more cohesive and consistent. No urgency problems.

Not saying he's a steal or may even play, but there is always a chance. There is potential. With Jesse, it sounded like he was out one way or another. Now we have a new chip to deal.

As a Canes fan I have looked at Jesse for years and honestly felt that the Oilers may have mishandled him. I don't see that happening when he gets to our org – better late than never I guess.
