    I live in this in area and Matt just illustrated once again the values of growing up in a small, caring community. We are so proud of the Hamilton and Duchene families.

    I live in the area and I am a good friend of the family and our little community was hurt when the little guy was diagnosed then when he passed on all of our hearts were crushed. Such a sweet, courageous, and lovable little man. R.I.P Dawson.

    This is just Duchene thorugh and thorugh. Things like this put things into focus when you think of what's improtant. I hope pepole watch this and realsie that some hockey players are not just after the fame and wealth. Well done Matt you are my favouirte NHL player.

    We had Duchene in Sweden, Frolunda under the lockout. Duchene is such an ambitious player and he wanted everybody in the team to progress as much as possible, even though we just had him a few weeks. Very unselfish player and honest player!

    I'm a Hawks fan, so I'm not too particularly fond of the Avalanche. Duchene now has so much respect in my books, he's an amazing hockey player and an even better person. Keep up the good work MD. I'd love to have you on the Hawks one day.

    Matt Duchene reminds me of Joe Sakic , it is all natural for him to give back to the community and all the human beings around him
