Then I wont have to hear about them anymore. I am hoping Jets make it to Playoffs. Calgary I think would have locked if won over Chicago. I'm wondering if Penguins or Islanders or Florida play each other. I'm thinking will be Panthers over them. The Song Remains The Same is good way to think of what will happen when comes to certain teams. Selanne would have scored hundreds more if not for injury after had like 76. It was crazy how much better Colorado played last night after Rantanen got his 50th. You could just tell that it took a lot of pressure off of the team, and they stopped forcing the play to the Moose, and just played (which ironically went through Mikko anyway.)
First 50-goal scorer for the Avs since Hedjuk in 02-03 and with 5 games left, probably the first time since 95-96 that the Avs have 2 100-point players
And 20 years ago, to the day (April 6), was when Milan Hedjuk scored his 50th goal; that was the last time an Avs player has reached the 50-goal milestone. It's like it was meant to be! Congrats to Mikko – he's played his heart out this year for the team and single-handedly carried them to wins multiple times; he deserves ALL the accolades. Now I hope he'll get to 100 points! (Which he should easily be able to get two more points, with five games left!)
I don't care about Tampa, but I haven't heard much of anyone talking about Point hitting almost 50 goals. That's pretty amazing. He did it under the radar…at least on youtube.

Hi Shannon…. when an UNDRAFTED guys plays 1 or 2 NCAA years and they're still eligible to be drafted (Luke Middlestat)….. isn't it possible for them to sign a Pro contract with any team since, essentially, they've been passed over 1-2x times in the Draft? Aren't they' "technically a free agent"? I honestly think after the WJC and Luke's 2 3rd period goals yesterday he's ready for the AHL. Why would a team burn a draft pick when they can just sign him? 92.5k per year signing bonus and AHL minimum 2-way deal….. I'm sure I am missing something here……

People should not talk all the time, everywhere, about Makar and Mackinnon. They should talk about Rantanen. For me he is the best Avs player, but because he is playing on the wing, people usually care less. Same with Kucherov in Tampa. People like to talk about these flashy speedy centers like MacKinnon or McDavid and they overlook other amazing players.

This is the year tampa loses in first round and starts their struggles to keep tryin to get in poffs with their aging roster and start givin horrible contracts to old players just to get to playoffs only to get owned in first round just like penguins and washington has done past 4years with their shitty teams
