  1. Powerplay points that means the team is getting in lanes, offensive and defensive zone time success etc.

  2. Doesn't mean anything unless the Oilers win the Stanley Cup this season. Player awards are nothing more than consolation prizes for the losers who don't win the Stanley Cup.

  3. Who cares about the Rocket Richard, Art Ross and Hart trophy anyways, the only award that matters is the Stanley Cup, all other individual player awards are worthless and meaningless and are nothing more than consolation prizes for the losers who don't win the Stanley Cup. Stanley Cup Champion better than Hart trophy champion.

  4. So many butthurt clowns in the comments talking about how he’s trash because of (insert excuse) and yet they would take him to have him on their team in a heartbeat 😂

  5. It’s insane to think that he’s doing this in this day and age. No doubt hall of famer to be

  6. Pasternak Is still a better goal scorer If he had the same ice time as Mcdavid he’d be past 70 right now no doubt

  7. There's a real chance he could end up with the highest scoring season of anyone not named Gretzky or Lemieux. Esposito got 152 in 1971, and Nicholls and Yzerman got 150 and 155 in 1989.
McDavid is likely going down as the 3rd best scoring forward ever, considering the era he's done it in.

  8. I have never seen an NHL player dominate the season like McDavid has this season. What an absolute force of nature.

  9. And the NHL only had to change all the rules and remove physical play for it to happen…modern players are as soft as puppy pooh.
