You hit it right on the nail there. Fans shouldn't expect too much production from him right out of the gates. How many games is he going to play? 9? 7? 3? Who knows. But if he finishes the season with a goal or 2 and maybe 3-4 assists, I'll be happy. I'll be happy with 1 point per 3 game. The guy's coming into the best league in the world out of the NCAA. He'll have to possibly play against Buffalo, Carolina, Washington, Toronto, and Boston. Those are tough matchups. It takes time to know your teammates and learn how to predict where they will be. I'm just happy for him to get more experience at the NHL level and get to know the players so he can better prepare for next season.

I am a habs fan for a long time ( 40 years )… And honestly I can't remember the time that we had so many exciting players coming up…. And yes I regret saying MSL needs a booster seat behind the bench😅😂😂
you might see him on left wing with Susuki and Dack on right wing? or Farell Drouin and Hofmanon right wing? BUt coach St-Louis probably will go safe and start with 4th line or 2nd line?
But I would try him on power play just to see where he now sits? But he could help Laval to make the series also.

Yesterday Harvey-Pinard said something like this on French TSN. "I'm glad I had a handful of games at the end of last season, allowed me to see what the big league looked like, took a lot of stress off my shoulders for the summer and made me reflect on what I needed to work on the most, I came to the camp ready". So I think even if he doesn't get points I think it's important that he shows up for some games that don't mean much anyway. Or maybe he'll follow so many players this year and score on his first game with the new team
We landed both Farrell and Hutson because they slid down the rankings cause of a few inches if they were 5'10'-6'0 feet they would have had gone top 10 or even higher! Now there is another player that as slid in this years draft and he has two more strikes on top of being a smaller stature player only an inch taller than Sean and Lane 1. he is from Mother Russian and 2. he is under contract with the KHL and won't be aval till 2025 in Matvei Michkov. As long as Hughes gets us some more beasts like Dach,Slaf and Arber Xhekaj we will be well balanced and a hell of team in a few years! Can Lords Hugo do no wrong!
