  1. Maybe should have given us something to cheer about Bo, how could any team respect it’s captain when you would never stick up for your teammates.

  2. nite_awol

You just know he reads Canucks Reddit posts about him post trade.

  3. BambiesMom

Doesn’t seem safe to burn bridges if you’re an islanders. If someone burns the ferries too then you’re hooped.

  4. Judge24601

Okay I think Bo is a stand up person but honestly what the fuck is this.

I’m sorry that we didn’t cheer like crazy for a team that hasn’t played a playoff game in front of fans in 8 years. Plus last year the fans were completely on board for the Bruce run even though the team was never in a playoff spot

  5. DiscoTots

How would he know how fans are in a post season run ? Never came close when he was here

  6. theNattydr

Have fun with your 1st round exit, isles ain’t going nowhere

  7. NCPokey

Here I was actually wishing Bo well in New York. Nice to know how he really feels I guess.

EDIT – Actually, this should be his entire “tribute” video when he comes to Vancouver.

  8. stepharee

Lol that was unnecessary. What a prick

  9. ThisIsFineImFine89

Guys bitter his stats tanked after the trade.

  10. NightHawkRambo

Lol, that’s the most emotion he’s shown the past 8 years, maybe even more.

  11. ProfitMuhammad

Future 8.5 million dollar 20 goal scorer Bo Horvat, ladies and gentlemen.

  12. RoughJustice81

This would probably sting if I was ever a real fan of his. I never imagined we could trade a captain and I’d care less about it

  13. TacoQueenYVR

I would be 100000000% fine with Horvat shitting on the Canucks management or coaching, but shitting on the fanbase for what? What does this accomplish?

  14. CamaroGirl96

I get that he’s not going to say bad things about the Islanders crowd. But he didn’t need to mention Vancouver. He could have just said what an amazing crowd here blah blah.

  15. AAfreakinRON

We’ve honestly been playing better as an overall team since he’s left. Hughes and Petey have been growing in their leaderships roles in such a small timeframe. Millers back to how he was last year too.

  16. blumper2647

Desperately trying to win over Islander fans after his massive drop off in production and mammoth contract.

  17. sam4999

Gee thanks… I guess in the past 9 seasons you haven’t given us much to cheer for, eh *Cap*?

    Fuckin’ Prick.

  18. Disastrous-Fee-6647

Considering their team has something to play for and we don’t, and considering long islanders are louder in general than Vancouverites, he’s probably not wrong. It would be more a fair comparison to the fan volume during the 2011 run. But having said that; it’s pretty classless to say that publicly. You would NEVER hear such a comment from Henrik (if he had moved teams) or Linden or Naslund.

  19. fastcurrency88

Ahhhh taking the Kesler route I see. Disappointing

  20. Away_Adhesiveness938

Boo him out of town next time he’s here.

  21. CaptainIndoCanadian

Low fucking blow. All the fans ever did was cheer this guy on. Fuck you Bo.

  22. CosmicMarbles

Well, he certainly didn’t have to do that. I understand that you’re gone now and wanna embrace your new team. But I never took Horvat as the type of guy who would be saying this kinda stuff. Everyone here loved and supported him all the time.

I understand that the team went through some really some really difficult times during his tenure. But when you are the captain of the team, you share a lot of that blame. To shit on the franchise so publicly seems unjustified.
