Henrique was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the third round, 82nd overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Henrique was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 2011-12, and finished third in voting for the Calder Trophy, given to the league’s top rookie. He posted 51 points that season, and scored the overtime winner in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs. the New York Rangers, securing New Jersey’s fifth trip to the Stanley Cup Finals.
