The refs totally ignored God Knows how many "Too Many Men" calls. They avoided calling PP's for the Oilers like the plague. Connor breaks 150 points. Demers plays his 700th NHL game (and played over 10 minutes it wasn't a token play for 15 seconds or anything though his turnover got SJ their one goal (ruining another Skinner Shutout)). Derek Ryan with Depth scoring on a Shortie. Oilers have 17 shorties (#1 in the league I think). Look, this was a no-mercy win. Bouchard with 2 secondary assists (and nearly a goal or two). Honestly the better he does the more his contract costs us and I'm just fine with that (lol). Broberg getting his first goal of the season and 2nd NHL goal was nice too. This was a big lines game. Nurse played just over 20 minutes and he played the most. Kulak who is our 3rd line LD played the 2nd most minutes at 19:33. That says a LOT. Vegas LOST to Dallas in a Shootout (so they got a Bettman point which sucks). Now we just need LA to loose. Great job guys. Take care all.

  4. That's the league leading 17th SHG for the Oilers.

I believe since March 1 they are outscoring the opposition when at 4v5…

    That's 4v5, NOT 5v4!

  5. Just got home from the Stars game. Was a nail biter, but nice to see the boys come through. Oh, and it was Heiskanen bobble head night 😎

  6. Weird that last time Crosby hit a milestone (11th 30 goal season) McDavid scored 60th goal of the season.

Today Crosby gets his 1500 point of his career and McDavid gets 150 points in a season.

  7. In their last 5 games, the Oilers have more shorthanded goals than power play goals by all teams they played combined

  8. Thanks for the indepth recaps, couldnt see the Oilers game because of other commitments. Congrats to Connor on 150, he really is something special. And a big thank you to Dallas for beating the Knights. Looking forward to power rankings later on.

  9. Another strong game for Vegas even without Eichel who will be back shortly . Let's not forget Mark Stone coming soon .

  10. 7:53 this is a very important game for San Jose. Every point hurts their chances at going first overall and getting the best chances for Bedard

  11. Quick really deserved to win. Kraken can still surpass Kings for 3rd but should manage 100 points for season. That probably is a record for a 2nd Year Expansion team in NHL? I saw the game though kinda wish I went in the bathroom. Kessel if he kept his hand closed I wonder if that counts? Bruins if that was same situation it would count or if it was against Calgary Flames especially if Tampa was other team. Man I don't know what Vegas was doing as had Otter flopping or an open net only to try to pass? Hutton on the PP isn't going to score anything. Whitecloud being injured on that fluke play is a real tough break with Theodore already out. Alvin isn't there or Simon. Quick there only Chance to Win Cup. Thompson would just get injured hehe ;).

  12. As an Oiler fan since 1979 (I was 9, and moved to St Albert, just north of Edmonton that year), there have been glory years, and long, long stretches of frustration. Last year was a lot of fun, and a 3rd round playoff run felt pretty good. This year is shaping up to be an even wilder ride. Go Oil!!!

  13. I like the Stars chances to win the central after this one. Next 3 are against non playoff teams. Avs however are playing LA tonight and 3 teams that are trying to make the playoffs to end the season.

  14. I swear McAvoy takes more stupid penalties at the worst time then anyone on his team. That doesn't even count turnovers and just stupid plays…He is no Lindholm

  15. Am the only one thats finds it wild that mcdavid has 1/10th of crosbys career point production just this season

  16. With that point tonight vegas all but guaranteed themselves to win the pacific/west just need a win in last 2 games vs Seattle

  17. Pretty good game considering Vegas was missing their best player Stone, their best center Eichel, their second best defenseman Theodore, their best goalie Thompson, their second best goalie Hill, a solid player in Carrier and lost another defenseman in Whitecloud during the game.

  18. great game!!! go stars!!!!!i bleed victory green !!! do you? bring it ! we have a robo !!!!!

  19. Was at Vegas-Dallas tn and it was such an electric atmosphere. Playoff energy. Oettinger-Quick battle. Pavelski’s great stick in OT. Huge win for the Stars

  20. Did i mention Quinnipiac? its okay…. Mr Graf had some good plays and got one goal. Way to go Mr Lipkin and Mr Metsa!!

  21. Please point out how many McDavid points are primary points when you make a video. Alot of people seem to think he's getting a ton of secondary assists and padding his points.

  22. No disrespect to Boston but it would be nice if the last power ranking Edmonton was first just in the fact how they are plying right now.

  23. I mean this with all due to respect to God and Jesus Christ as a Christian: I think it's funny that a guy nicknamed McJesus hits 150 points on the weekend that celebrates Christ's rising from His tomb.

  24. 151 points for Mcdavid, we are witnessing the greatest season since prime Mario and Jagr. Only 4 more points to tie Stevie Y and have the most in a season for someone not named Gretzky or Lemieux, 2 games left

  25. 7:47 It doesn't have to do with the fan attendance for this particular game. It was the last home game of the season/fan appreciation game so there weren't that many empty seats (I was in attendance and while there were some empty seats I'd say it was probably at least 95% capacity, probably a sellout with some people not showing up). There were a decent number of fairweather fans in attendance who only showed up for the giveaways/since it was the last game/since it was a day game so they could bring their kids which likely contributed to the lower amount of boos than expected.
