I donât like her at all and I find her super cringy half the time but getting upset about this hs such an old boys club thing imo.

I know about 30-40% it feels like of people in this sub prefer JT in the booth with Forslund over Eddie or find Eddie and Forslund’s banter annoying but man I think he is dead on here. Especially on an ESPN broadcast like that because the first thing that went through my head was “uhhh is that Johnny’s thing???”. And Leah isnt by any stretch exactly what you could consider at the pulse or connected with this team or city in any way lmao. I also love how adamant Eddie was in hammering this point home, because so many people seem to think Eddie and Forslund don’t like eachother and I think that is is sooooo far from the truth. They are like bickering uncles who love eachother at the end of the day. They have a ton of respect for eachother and it can get crowded in the booth I get it but they always both put their A1 into every broadcast just in opposite ways and it usuallly comes across as Eddie annoying John, but again I really think Johnny plays the straight shooting “yeah yeah we get it” role and that is part of the shtick. That is a million words to say that I love both them and love this broadcast team. John, Edzo, JT, Allison, Piper, Nick, all of em. We are really lucky. I watch sooo much out of market ESPN+ hockey and 90% of it is a snooze fest in comparison.
