  1. It would have been interesting to see how the Flyers would have fared if Ellis, Couterier, Atkinson, Hart, and such had been on the ice today. But it is a shame Boston had to have some guys take a day off so you couldn't see their whole team.

  2. Scratching tony deangelo, the guy who has basically had the bruins running rings around him over the past few seasons, is a great move. – A bruins fan

  3. What started me to actually comment, is that you call the "taken away goal" "no goal", "called off goal" …..funny. this is NOT funny, this is and should be serious. Listen buddy idgaf who u like…what team, what person,…..but the fact that u CLEARLY NEED GLASSES, IS PROMINENT. ALL you say is yes, there's obv goalie interference….. what the flyers f* about the guy who LITERALLY PUSHED AND COULD ALSO BE CALLED SHOVED,
Connor Clifton into the * goalie. He made distinctive movement to NOTTTT * HIT THE GOALIE. iT would have made you atleastook smarter or self aware of the game. How the flyers * did not not mention it!

  4. I like what I am seeing with Flyers..some identity and look like they are only to get better…

Congrats to B’s on this evolving and memorable season!

  5. It was wild that Matthews got 60 last year for the first since 2012. It's even wilder that 2 guys have 60 this season! You'd think scoring 60 would guarantee you the Rocket, but not when McDavid exists.

  6. I agree Shannon, as a Bruins fan I hate to see other fans chanting for the Cup. Just take it one game at a time.

  7. I was listening to the radio broadcast and I didn't realize it was in Philly until they scored and they goal horn went off. That crowd was Boston through and through.

Now the mission is to win 16 more

  8. Remember when thought and said, “I don’t think they hit 63 wins, set a new record.” I’m paraphrasing, of course… Are you enjoying eating those words??? 😂

  9. Nobody saw this coming and if they say they did they're lying, great time to be a Bs fan especially if they break Montreal's points record against Montreal but they gotta win it all or else they're just the 07 Patriots so we'll see

  10. They're gonna set the points record too, although people are probably gonna say that it doesn't count cause the bruins had 2 more games to do it and the favorable OTL points to tied points and yada yada yada.

  11. As a lifelong Bruins fan, I am still just in shock at this team. I said at the beginning of the year that I was afraid this would be a write off year due to the injuries…boy did this org prove me wrong. For all the screwed up things management has done since Sweeney and Cam came in, this year really vindicates them, and believe you me up until now I was no fan of Sweeney and Co. Hell even Zboril looks like an actual NHL player out there now, that alone is a miracle!

  12. People make the excuse that they lose because they got key guys out but bruins are winning with major key guys out so whats the issue with the other teams? Its a select few people from fanbases saying this but I still find it funny.

  13. Honestly, I could see people thinking that the Oilers should be #1 on the power rankings. 8/10 of the Bruins last 10 games have been decided by 1 goal, the other 2 have been decided by 2 goals. For the Oilers, they’re dominating teams, during this 7 game win streak, the Oilers are scoring 4.57 goals per game and allowing 1.57 goals per game.

That being said, the Bruins and Oilers are both playing really well, they’re both winning so they can be interchanged for #1 and #2 on the power rankings.

  14. (Pens fan here) Gratz Bruins. While I can't stand Edwards or Marchand, I do recognize the enormity of your accomplishment. Made even sweeter by the predictions of your demise by all the so-called "experts".

  15. With Pasta hitting 60 goals today, him and McDavid became the first two players to have 60 goals in a season since 95-96 when two teammates did it, Mario Lemieux and Jagr for the Penguins.

Congratulations to the Boston Bruins for being the first team to win 63 wins in a season despite missing some key players. Pressure will be on to win the Stanley Cup after an already awesome regular season.

  16. I figured Boston would finish just out of the playoffs this year – they looked to be in much the same situation as the Caps and Pens, after-all. Boy have they made me eat sh!t – everything has come up aces for them and then some – Swayman and Ulmark two of the best goalies in the league in playoff form. Pasta having a Cam Neely-type season. The old core of Marchand, Krejci and Bergeron turning-back the clock a decade and getting the best of all the awesome, young talent to enter the league since 2011. Setting and now beraking records and they're not even done – a few more points and they beat the 76-77 Canadiens and their last game of the season, fittingly, VS the Habs. It's a pleasure to have been wrong and witness NHL history 🙂

  17. I agree! This season, as a longtime Bruin's fan, has just been special… I honestly don't care if they lose early – I don't want it to happen – but even if it does NO team has ever given their fans as much as this Bruin's team. A scary-deep team with some great personalities and awesome chemistry. Thank you Bruins!

  18. Everyone saying “it doesn’t mean anything if you don’t win the cup, let’s wait until playoffs blah blah blah” like okay bud

Still counts for something, being the best regular season team ever

Been a hell of a ride, and I enjoyed every minute, and will be happy with whatever happens next

this team was supposed to be fringe playoff team like Pittsburgh or Washington have been this year

    Proud of them
    LGB 👏🏼🐻

  19. It’s clear there was goalie interference but it was also clear he was pushed into that and then tried to avoid it. It’s not in any players best interest to hit the goalie. They don’t mess around anymore, as you seen tonight they’ll call it and even if they don’t they’ll review it if it’s challenged. That being said, the intent is to avoid the contact and he was trying to even before he was pushed and continued trying to avoid the contact during and after the push. I believe taking in the intent and his trajectory right before contact it’s clear he was pushed into the contact

  20. I dont think the bruins are very banged up. No reason to play vets and risk injury. Expect pasta and Marchand to get a break over the next two games.

  21. Pastrnak should have 61 goals. With 5 seconds left in Devils game his wraparound on the empty net crossed the line but it wasn't reviewed.

  22. As one of the announcers said Ravech I believe having close games and playing through a bit adversity instead of having blowouts
actually is better heading into the playoffs. I think I agree. Hopefully Marchand can start scoring again.

  23. I’m gunna chalk it up to you actively not trying to jinx us shannon cuz this team is just different. This doesn’t feel like 2018 Tampa if that’s where ur brains going listen to your hearttttt Bs in 6 this is our year baby

  24. Things are going to perfect for these Bruins lol and we all know how that story plays out in the playoffs just saying, somebody highlight this comment for future reference just in case 😉 lol.

  25. Definitely not sold yet on this Bruins team. Let's see what they do in the next couple games.

  26. 1976 77 Canadiens ..60 8 12. If the Habs had the OT of today, lm sure that they would have won more than 63 wins.

  27. I was getting on the train earlier today (going the opposite direction of the game) and there were three bruins fans waiting at the stop. Then the train pulled up and every car had a couple bruins fans in it. All I could say was goddammit as me and my flyers hat went the other way. Best of luck in post season.

  28. Feels like, this season, even if Bruins threw Maine Mariners roster with an EBUG, they would somehow end up winning.

  29. Wait…there are people complaining that the team with the most wins in history, a goal differential of 124, lapping the league in points and playing AHL players is considered the top team right now? Hahaha

  30. How crazy is it that President's trophy winners are not expected to go all the way to the cup..particularly after the season the Bruins have had….welcome to the new NHL normal folks!

  31. Bruins fan here, watched enough seasons to know winning the cup is no joke, no matter what happens its been an amazing season that I'll remember fondly.

  32. It's sad the WFC keeps getting taken over by fans from other teams. All I can hope for is that this will keep hammering home that no Flyers fan likes what we're seeing and even more changes will be made in the off-season.

  33. I have no problem with "we want the cup" chants. Rather hear it now than in the playoffs to be honest. Also I fully expect them to win the cup, if they get a tough series and play well but don't, so be it. It's still a great season.
