Anyone thinking Bartkowski was trying to level him with a dirty hit is a fool! The Bruins aren't the tough team they used to be. The fight with Foligno is also one that Bartkowski would not have accepted had he been given the chance to make that decision. I'd pick Foligno 9/10 times in that fight. I like how Foligno backed up his teammate with that hit, but Bartkowski is FAR from a dirty player. Give the guy a break!

Just because it was shoulder to shoulder doesn't make it clean.. Gionta didn't touch the puck and it was interference. So regardless of where and how gionta was hit it was still an 'illegal' check.
Foligno's old man didn't teach him to make suies like that. I thought it was a great hit, looked like shoulder was initial point of contact. But that doesn't mean anything nowadays. The suspensions seem to be attributed to how severe the hit looked, clean or not. And I am not a Bruins fan, although I was in the Mr. Raymond Bourque era.
It's funny, if it was the other way around you'd hear so much more about how dirty the hit was, and how disgraceful that Sabre would be, but since it's not they're like Eh, maybe it's a little high lol.
