Washington also won against the desperate Isles (LOL) and Canucks are now tied with them with 79 points.
I don’t even care about the Bedard lottery at this point. It was just really exciting that this team could have had a really high pick regardless, and that whole thing about a “deep draft” doesn’t necessarily apply to the entire draft.
But I know that I’ll be hyping up our pick regardless even if he projects to be a 3rd line player. Superstar in the making. Why didn’t any other team pick this player before us?
Great so just expect that wherever we place we fall 2 spots because we are the vancouver canoocks and if anything better then great

I had a dream last night from the Hockey Gods and they told me that they owe Vancouver one from 2011- hopefully itโs us getting Bedard
Iโd honestly be happy with any of Bedard, Fantilli, Michkov, Carlsson, Smith, Benson, Sandin-Pellikka, Reinbacher, Moore. Feel like no matter what weโre getting a solid player. Dvorsky is interesting as well although not as sold on him as the others I listed.
So we’re realistically between 8-11 with a slim chance at 1 or 2.
It’s definitely a steep drop off from the top 4, and we probably aren’t getting anyone that will step in next year.
Our biggest hope is probably Reinbacher being there or Michkov falling to there (someone on the Marek show was saying he can see him falling that far depending on how the lottery shakes out. I doubt it but one can hope.)
