Too late. If the management fires many players, including key players, in the middle of the season, maybe they are sending a hidden message "no playoff plans this season"
If Huberdeau OR Markstrom, just one of them, only underperformed this season (1 ppg or .900 SVP) Calgary would be in the playoffs.
Instead they have epically underperformed each.
The sad part about the Cowtown lames downfall is that Joe Jonas hiller, karri John Rambo, Miikka KipperAssTrash, Smitty and Brian Elliot wouldn’t have saved the lames. They got lucky, Transffoli relied on offside goals to win games. Karma finally caught up to the fLames and their luck eventually ran out. BWAHAHAHA until next time Cowtown! A year of promise followed by fan sadness comes to an unfortunate end for Calgarians. I still hope to see our fellow Canadians Oilers and Winnipeg have great playoffs, and even the Leafs, should they make it through the Boston mountains. A playoff final with at least one Canadian team in it would improve my mood.
