Brawls were pretty "normal" back in the 80's and early 90's… I'm a Hawks fan so I've seen my fair share and it just wasn't St. Louis – the Hawks got into it on several occasions with Minnesota to boot.. I mean they called it the "Chuck Norris" Division for a reason, lol… Them brawls took forever to sort out too, the actual brawl itself took 20-30 minutes on occasion – I mean it was a "show" within itself and sometimes was referred to as "the main event" lol – then it took another 20 minutes to sort the mess out.. I remember a couple of occasions were brawls happened with only a handful of minutes left in the period and they just told everyone to get off the ice, then tacked on those last few minutes onto the next period just so they wouldn't waste anymore time..
Also, you really gotta admire the officials from that era too because they're the ones caught in the middle of a free for all, lol..
If you want to see something interesting type in "Stu Grimson goes nuts" into youtube, now pay attention to Mike Keenan in that video and that really sums up why he's "hated" er at least why those early 90's Hawks teams got into so many damn brawls, lol…

Today i maked a time travel. I downloaded and reinstalled on my new gaming PC NHL 98… Season with Montreal. With that commentary that give you the sensation of a letterman show…. I lost two matches and one ended in fair. But the fights are numerous
