In 60 yrs of playing watching and playing hockey only a few teams were similar in balance, depth and most importantly chemistry than this bruins team, the coach has a great temperament, respect for his players but also demands respect from them, this team is the perfect storm of hockey, but playoffs are always a battle, if ever their was a team destined to go the whole route it's this one. Good luck BBB or in my day Big Bad Bruins.
IF they win the cup, and take the points record in addition to the wins record they already have, we can debate if this team or the 76-77 Canadiens is the best team ever. Yes I know the Canadians fans will point to the newer overtime rules etc. but the 76-77 Habs also played a lot of games against absolutely terrible teams. Their entire division was garbage. ( combined record 108-161) Obviously hard to compare teams from different times so if they win it all, I’ll take the 22-23 Bruins while recognizing others can quibble. No cup= no debate.
