you'll never convince me that Shane Wright wasn't the best possible forward available for arizona to draft. He's the most complete center out of that entire draft and arizona completely got starry-eyed over a flashy offensive player instead of taking the best most complete center. I understand the importance for players that can make plays like Cooley on a roster, but arizona isn't in a position yet to draft for individual playmaking alone. Shane plays the game the Wright way and has the proper composite in all areas to be a high level impact forward at both ends of the ice.
Arizona isnt good…but they also arent the awful Yotes of the last few yrs. Theyve played a lot of good teams tough lately,& always play us tough. Even when we analytically destroy them-the scores are usually close. I was VERY nervous going into this game,& early in the 3rd not feeling it was our night. But huge 2 pts…even 1 Sunday would feel pretty good i think-all things considered.
