Don’t get the hate on Addison when goligoski looks like he’s skating in mud trying to keep up with the pace. Goose is a liability as much as Addison without the offensive upside

Addison is young, so he still has time to figure out what it takes to make it in the NHL, but I think it’s becoming less like that Billy and Dean are interested in waiting to see if that happens.

Random thought; could it be they’re not giving him ice time not just because his actual defending is poor, but it will make it way cheaper to sign him? I think it would be a bad idea not to sign him, personally.

Sorry to say Addy just has no hockey sense at all. Has some offensive talent, but he’s just totally lost all the time, and this game sealed it for me. Watch the replay of that first goal against – he literally stands in place in the defensive zone the entire time. He can’t read plays whatsoeverl, you can even see his head snap around too late as the puck get passed around. Just absolutely 0 awareness. Jives with always seeing him in random ass places in BOTH zones and pinching at the worst times.
All credit to Faber for playing so well, but Addy you can’t be going out there competing for a job and then get completely shown up by the college kid. I really hope people who have been asking “why Klingberg or Goli over Addison?” paid attention to this game and got it answered for them. All skill and no sense.
