This Player has proven he can play Regular Season NHL Games….and that is all……I am impressed…but I do not want his future development and mentality mangled by unrealistic expectations this year, the Oilers have not played consistently or really to their potentials all season long….the Trade deadline gave them a boost….but Skinny has to ride into the Playoffs with a 2nd rate Defense that plays non-contact positional hockey that leads to more penalties against… and with a Coach who was smashed badly in a Sweep last year. So I hope he can be the same kind of Goalie under the Playoff microscope and under Playoff conditions and that if things do not all go his way that he still takes a lot of positives out of 2023..
