It hurts but it was a tight game. I think the panthers were just afraid to shoot in OT to avoid a rebound that would lead to a leafs goal. Ultimately they lost now it all comes down to Thursday. Someone hold me 😂

Hey Steve. An FYI, but technically, the Buffalo Sabres are still alive in the wild card race in the East. It is a longshot but it is feasible. And it would be in character for the Sabres to bend over and grab their ankles for their parent club, the Boston Bruins, in the first round of the playoffs. I'm surprised there wasn't a sweetheart trade that favored the Bruins this season, like Taylor Hall for a bag of magic beans.
As much as the league was completely justified in denying the Leafs callup of Woll it sure feels petty.
Like every team will always try (and usually succeed) to bend the system to their advantage (how many millions was Tampa over the cap when they won their cups?) yet of course, when it's Toronto trying to game the system then suddenly it's a big deal and can't be allowed… I know that's probably not actually the case but that's sure how it feels.
As a Crosby fan I want the Penguins to make the playoffs. 17 straight years would be cool. And thanks to my Leafs and the Crapitals the Penguins now have a shot.
